ABOUT

As an artist I try to play with the body and different material. I love to make works that are on edge, that make you feel something. Whether it is beauty or disgust. Inspiration comes from religion, different cultures, masks and the art of puppetry. For me, everything is an experiment and a way to find out what a material can do, to test the limits. 

Since I am coming from a background in Fashion design I often thake the human body as a starting point. Can I take the living part out of the body? That only the outside shows for itself? I want to make versions of a body where you can literally feel what kind of emotion i want you to feel.
So I play with these thoughts when I am making a sculpture. And with these stories behind the sculpture I make materials that fit the whole image and enhance the impact.
